“ This spot is severely underrated. I came here before close and still the owner welcomed me in with incredible warmness. Atmosphere was great and the food spoke for itself. Quality of the meats, homemade tortillas, chips, and salsas were very impressive. I ordered the beef fajitas plate and was not disappointed. The chips were also amazing with the sauce that are made in the house. Can’t recommend it enough!! Even though we came a little late, the owner was extremely kind and attentive. Thank you!! Portions were perfect, very satisfying, and my Pollo Adobado entree was so good, the ancho chile sauce was a perfect blend of spices with the Ancho pepper as the main flavor. Nice big margaritas and a good selection of beers. Service was wonderful. The waiter helped us decided on dinner choices and told us that the owner has had this family restaurant going for more than 40 years. This is a must visit restaurant. I will be back when I visit Houston again. ”
